As data analysts📊, we believe that almost any everyday challenge can be better understood through data. Over the past few months, a lot of commuters have noticed a big gap between the fare estimates on e-hailing apps and the actual amount they end up paying at the end of a trip.
By collecting and analyzing this data, we want to provide clear insights that can help improve transparency, fairness, and trust between riders and e-hailing companies.
To see what is really going on, our team is running a data-driven study on the rider experience right here in Port Harcourt.
Our main goal is to investigate and quantify this fare gap.
I'm officially starting the Data Analytics Accelerator Program (DAAP) to gain more practical experience. I'm so excited to build projects, collaborate with peers, and tackle real-world business challenges over the next few weeks.

I had a great time at Tech-Up PH yesterday ❤️.
I had the chance to interview several attendees and hear their thoughts on the tech space. Later on, I moved to the stage to speak as a Logistics Analyst for a Data Analytics Q&A session

Okay, I finally did the wireframe!
It feels good to finally finish this✨. The buttons that link to other parts of the document? Yeah I just did that for fun😅, but it does make navigation easier.
📍 There's also about N23,658 in revenue with missing location data, "Unknown". It's a small percentage but it still needs to be looked into. The data collection process at the point of sale should be optimized in order to accurately track sales by location.
📍 Product Drivers: The "Household" category is leading with about N209,000 in revenue generation. This means we should prioritize stocking products in this category to avoid running out.
📍 Payment Preferences: Transfers dominate about 51% of transactions. To avoid risking over half our revenue, the store should prioritize high-speed internet and multiple banking options.
🌐 KEY INSIGHTS
📍 Regional Performance: Port-Harcourt is leading in sales at N149,965. We could investigate what drives sales there and replicate that in underperforming regions like Ibadan (97,881) and Lagos (109,520).
This helps us understand customer foot traffic and purchase frequency.
📍 Total Units Sold: This is the cumulative quantity of items sold across all product categories.
So here's what the dashboard tells us: 250 invoiced, 6 unique locations ~1,700 units sold, and N758,339 in revenue.
🌐 SALES INDICATORS
📍 Total Revenue: The total income generated from all transactions.
📍 Invoice Count: The total number of unique transactions.
