@xxM180TDD9000xx The Wall of Fame scene had a lot of tension that allowed for displays of discrimination. Without the intention of trying to understand each other, things escalated and it was only a matter of time before serious consequences occurred.
@grimaudo65 I agree because in the film, there were a lot of incidents that provoked fights which caused a lot of conflict. There was always conflict in every street due to the failure to understand each other's differences.
I felt annoyed and frustrated while watching this film because there was a lot of conflict between different races and the constant reminder to not forget what race they were. The lack of understanding between cultures was very evident.

@austin_zhou22 I agree with the idea that this would limit freedom because it would restrict certain things from being said. I do feel that even if this were to be implemented, it would be flawed in some way, which would lead to more complaints.
@lilamediahunter I agree with what you said about how people won't trust the government to handle it properly because I think there could still be flaws. It might be hard to implement without people complaining.
I do and do not think the FCC should regulate the internet because the FCC does protect users from harmful or indecent content. However, it also results in a lack of free speech which may cause complaints. #Media1802D04
@xxM180TDD9000xx I agree with the fact that it promotes gender diversity because many people have the idea that beauty products are only used by women.
@sarahathunter I agree because the color of the lip shade and the lipstick, jewelry really makes the viewers focus and zoom in on her lips. It's a good way for people to admire the effects of the lipstick they are advertising.
This advertisement targets people of all ages but specifically people who like to drink sugary drinks. Due to the discount shown, it encourages people to buy more and download the app.

@grimaudo65 I agree because people can watch on their own devices instead of gathering together to stay connected. People's live reactions to certain things can be something memorable.
@mediiatwt I agree with the fact that it forms new communities with shared interests. I never really thought of it that way, especially because needing money to access channels might decrease the amount of people watching.
Cable disrupts our sense of community because people have to pay subscription fees in order to receive cable TV. The traditional network TV system made it easier for friends/family to bond because of the limited amount of channels that allowed for discussion. #Media1802D04
@tinachen5448 I agree with what you said about speaking up and influencing people to make the right decisions because opinions can be more easily expressed online than in person. It also allows them to gather the courage they need.
@rainydb333 I agree with the fact that it can allow for more opinions and discussions because social media can help spread ideas faster than in person. Although it does lead to misinformation and other people potentially believing certain views as truths.
Social media harms/fosters the political system of democracy/the principle of freedom because of misinformation and spreading awareness. Misinformation can spread false information that can deceive. However, it can help to spread awareness of urgent concerns.
