It’s raining for the first time in weeks and weeks at my house!! I’m just standing out in the yard and letting it hit me in the face while I praise the Giver of all good gifts. Our dry and thirsty land is just soaking it in. The air smells so good. Thank you, Lord!!!!
I want so much to have some words for y’all but all I can do right now is sob. My good friend says that tears are liquid prayers. That is how I’m praying for now.
Today, we can wrestle with feelings of not being good enough or we can trust that God already knows how much we need Him. He's not asking us to do this life without Him. And with Jesus, we are better than good enough because He steps in and fulfills what we cannot do on our own.
Even when we don’t understand, we must trust God’s timing is perfect.
Remember, “not yet” doesn’t mean “not ever.”
Keep holding on, friend. God isn’t done with your story.
Congratulations to Harvard Law School student Priscila Coronado, a California-born daughter of Mexican immigrants, for being named The Harvard Law Review's newest president — a first in its 135-year history!

We serve a God who breathes life into the shattered soul and creates something new and more beautiful than ever before. And you are never so broken that God can’t make something beautiful out of your life.
Dare to believe it, sweet friend.
Even though it feels like the world is scary, we don’t have to run with fear. We can run to God. He is our safety. He is our security. He is the One who makes us unshakeable! “The name of the Lord is a strong tower, the righteous run to it and are safe” (Proverbs 18:10).
We live in a broken world full of broken people. But isn’t it comforting to know God isn’t ever broken? He isn’t ever caught off guard, taken by surprise, or shocked by what happens next.
We are safe in His hands.
On the 20th anniversary of the attacks on September 11th, this 3,888-pound steel beam from the World Trade Center stands outside of UH's Student Center South to commemorate all of those who lost their lives that day. #NeverForget
On the hard days, let's remember... God will restore us. He will strengthen us. He will make us strong in the midst of our feeling weak. And there’s a perfecting of us that’s happening in the process.
There is purpose even in this. There is hope in the midst of our pain.
