“Movies used to have so much more color!”
No. Some movies had lots of color. Some had muted colors. Some were b&w. The same as today.
That false nostalgia crap is annoying.
"Obsession" art director Sally Choi calls for industry change as she only earned less than $7000 as the film nears $175 million globally. https://t.co/EbnioeEXwb
People on set talking about politics at lunch. The sheer depth of tribalism they are swimming in reminds me why I don’t discuss anything political anymore.
Christianity is so funny bc any religion that takes itself seriously would find it insulting to put the Word of God on a piece of cardboard meant to be covered in slop and thrown in the trash
Stephen Colbert got his band to play licensed music during his final show so CBS would be sued for using the music illegally.
“Oh no! I hope this doesn't cost CBS any money!”
Kristen Stewart wants to direct another movie by the end of the year "and put it on f---ing YouTube."
"Whatever money we make from that will be what I spend on my next one and there will be a trickle-down effect. I just don’t want to talk to these bros anymore ... I love Hollywood, I love big movies, [but] I don’t think I’d be very good at making them. I want to make weird s---. And I’m fully OK doing that in a kind of insulated, bizarre way. But I don’t want to do the thing where I wait five years for someone to give me $1 million to make something. I’m going to make it f---ing tomorrow." https://t.co/WHK5J1jGVF
I’ve been working on my first horror film in my career. Love being a set photographer because they do all the hard work of making it look cool lol. I just have to stay out of the way and create in the background.
@0ShyViolet0 Awesome! I’ll be praying for you all. Pittsburgh is great and I’ve been looking at properties there lol Love this chapter for your family.
I went into Project Hail Mary with no knowledge of the film. One thought that kept coming to mind while watching was “Wow this is shot so beautifully.” Only to find out that the DP is Greg Fraser. Everything makes sense now.
FIRST LOOK: Val Kilmer has been resurrected via AI to star in the new movie "As Deep as the Grave."
Kilmer was cast in the movie in 2020, five years before his death. But he was too sick amid his throat cancer battle to ever make it to set. Now an AI version of the actor is appearing in the film, with the full blessing of his daughter, Mercedes: "He always looked at emerging technologies with optimism as a tool to expand the possibilities of storytelling. This spirit is something that we are all honoring within this specific film, of which he was an integral part.”
“He was the actor I wanted to play this role,” says writer-director Coerte Voorhees. “It was very much designed around him. It drew on his Native American heritage and his ties to and love of the Southwest... His family kept saying how important they thought the movie was and that Val really wanted to be a part of this. He really thought it was important story that he wanted his name on. It was that support that gave me the confidence to say, okay let’s do this. Despite the fact some people might call it controversial, this is what Val wanted.”

YouTube asking “does this feel like AI slop” is not them protecting you.
It’s them using you to train their next AI to make slop so good you’ll never be able to tell the difference.
And they got you to do it for free…
