Random thoughts, mostly on film.

@Kevin_Jacobsen @OscarRunnerUp The Watcher on the Rhine comments has the wrong actress listed.

[Miguel @cinemaandchoc]

@BFI did the weekday matinee prices changed? Several of this Friday's screenings seem to have full price. Thanks

[Miguel @cinemaandchoc]

@TheGardenCinema Both had done comedies before, including together, so this feels a strange comment.

[Miguel @cinemaandchoc]

@alphaman_111 That's not her, though

[Miguel @cinemaandchoc]

@mikegalsworthy Marmalade comes from the Portuguese marmelada, which is made of quince (marmelo). So perhaps that has something to do with it too...

[Miguel @cinemaandchoc]

@hmvtweets hi, the hidef20 discount code isn't working for me in two different devices and browsers. Is this a temporary glitch?

[Miguel @cinemaandchoc]

@thameswater So you announced an 18 month closure, then discreetly you increase it to 4 years, you also close more of it, no proper alternatives and you think it's just an "inconvenience"?...

[Miguel @cinemaandchoc]

@NewhamLondon @thameswater how come a 1.5 year closure of the Greenway is now a 4-4.5 year closure with alternatives that are not suitable, especially for beginners? It's disgraceful.

[Miguel @cinemaandchoc]

@thameswater Some are high traffic roads. The bit outside Plaistow station has several buses passing constantly and turning. @NewhamCyclists has highlighted several times that the current diversion via Abbey Road is awful. So heavy traffic instead of dedicated cycleway.

[Miguel @cinemaandchoc]

@thameswater I can see and know the diversions, they're not very safe

[Miguel @cinemaandchoc]

@thameswater How can you say it's 18 months and then add several years more?! And provide no safe pedestrian and cycle only alternatives? Has anyone involved actually seen the traffic in some of those roads? Plus access to Plaistow Playing Fields is now restricted from the Greenway side.

[Miguel @cinemaandchoc]

@thameswater Yes, but those routes are not safe.

And the works were meant to be for 18 months. It's not admissible l.

[Miguel @cinemaandchoc]

@GhopperFilm is Pedro Costa's The Blood still coming out on Blu-ray? Thanks

[Miguel @cinemaandchoc]

@bkrewind One of her first stage plays was the lead in a play called Hitchcock Blonde.

[Miguel @cinemaandchoc]

@ThisisWalter89 I have the ones that were released by Arrow, Eureka and Criterion, with the exception of Conversation Piece. But there's a couple missing still.

[Miguel @cinemaandchoc]

@ThisisWalter89 I was hopeful of Ossessione. Or Senso.

[Miguel @cinemaandchoc]

@Kevin_Jacobsen Seriously underseen
