We say goodbye to our founder, the visionary Ted Turner. Ted’s love of classic films inspired him to create a channel dedicated to preserving them. He considered TCM one of his greatest accomplishments.

His passion continues to inspire us all as we work to fulfill his mission.

@TroyMP94 Agreed! The Farmer’s Daughter and RoboCop screenings were my top favorites of the fest, also fun bookends on Saturday.

Watched a dozen movies at #TCMFF this time around, and half of them were first-time watches! It was a good variety of movies; going from a Sandra Dee rom-com to ROBOCOP was especially fun.

Additionally, I went to two Club TCM events (including the Carol Burnett conversation!), and I sat in the bleachers for the opening night red carpet. Overall, another glorious time at my favorite film festival!

I also caught the intros for three other screenings: GREASE 2, DANGEROUS LIAISONS, and THE TOWERING INFERNO (though I did stay for about the first hour of the latter two films, both of which I’ve seen before anyway).
