@starsleeps@skys4r@rat_liker Just through the pipes, sound is amplified like crazy in there. She also sneezed a bit and moved around. Listening for her helped me figure out where in the pipe system she was at.
@hiyojunyuri@skys4r@rat_liker I'm pretty sick and have been on medication that's stronger than I'm used to. Think I accidentally left the cage unlatched at bedtime so she got out. I've never had a rat interested in the toilet before. I was pretty groggy, feverish, and out of it
@caocaucoco@KittensNeeds@rat_liker I'll post an update, seems okay. Has a mild upper respiratory infection which is extremely common for pet rats, she's on antibiotics but the vet thinks she'll be just fine
@Tw1stedAngelz My kids names sparkles, hydration, and Delemicus ( the girl gang)
The other six are names after sleep token songs and I call them squeak Token as a collective. They're all boys
Re my rat rescue - this is how I got her out of the pipe! Black flexipipe so she could climb up it. And a box of food, fresh water, and bedding that was dark so she felt safe going into it. Rats don't like sunlight
@2Lfoodprocessor Yes! Sound is super amplified in the pipe system so I could hear her sniffing, sneezing, wheezing, and moving around. Listening at the different pipe access ports on my system is what helped me figure out where exactly she was
@Tw1stedAngelz I will post many! I have 9 rats, they are sparkles ( the rat in question), hydration, Delemicus, Atlantic, arcadia, Euclid, Calcutta, Jericho, and Nazareth
