Bari Weiss and Nick Bilton are two of the most incompetent people hired to perform critical roles in our society. Scott Pelley spoke his truth and made his peace because he knew he would get fired anyway. Watching CBS News implode with this new regime is sad but deserved.
CBS News boss Bari Weiss defends firing Scott Pelley at "60 Minutes," saying he broke the newsroom's "trust" and "that's the path he chose."
"I'm only interested in working in a newsroom that is built on trust and mutual respect. We cannot do our work without it. That foundation was broken and despite our attempts to engage with Scott Pelley and to find a way back, unfortunately we weren't able to do so, and so we had to part ways. We did not want that to happen, but that's the path that he chose. That unfortunate outcome does not discount from the amazing contributions and work that Scott Pelley has done for CBS and for '60 Minutes' over the course of his career. His stories just from this past season on '60 Minutes'... are unforgettable stories. And those are the kind of stories that have always, always typified '60 Minutes.' The kind of stories that Nick Bilton is going to put on the air come September in season 59 with the amazing team that's still there and hopefully from some new people that are going to be joining us."

I’m convinced people are not bright or rage bait on purpose.
Instagram has always shown the account names who watch a temporary IG story.
Instagram only shows view counts, but not account names, for IG video posts and IG reels.
Ironic that the fascist administration thinks Antifa is an actual organization instead of a decentralized political movement and ideology with no national leaders, membership rolls, or centralized funding, but the movement exists for the purpose of being anti fascists.
The White House says they will “identify and neutralise” political groups that are anti-American, “radically pro-transgender” and anarchist.

Phase 1 is a $100,000 threshold. Phase 2 is a $2500 threshold. The underlying goal is to limit voting rights by preventing citizens who are registered voters from having passports, which they want to be required ID.
The U.S. will start revoking passports this week for parents who owe $100,000 or more in child support and soon will expand the policy. https://t.co/dEC8CFithF
It’s interesting to see reactions on this, especially since most fast food since the pandemic is drive-thrus or delivery. Walk-in traffic is pretty uncommon, except in super-metro locations.
This right-wing push to control all media, and it’s now affecting outlets like Vox, New York Magazine, The Verge, SB Nation, Eater, Polygon, and Curbed. It feels like every day, things are getting worse.
#Michael director Antoine Fuqua questions some allegations against Michael Jackson:
“When I hear things about us — Black people in particular, especially in a certain position — there’s always pause," he told The New Yorker, which added that "the filmmaker was skeptical of some of the accusers’ parents."
While Fuqua stressed didn’t know the truth behind the allegations made against Jackson over the years, he noted that “sometimes people do some nasty things for some money.”

The only future for this man is dying in prison but he should also go flat broke from lawyers trying to appeal his cases only to keep losing over and over again.

Anne Hathaway is PEOPLE’s 2026 #WorldsMostBeautiful cover star. After years of being her own toughest critic, she is letting go of the idea of perfection — which has only made her more vibrant, confident and in demand. ✨ That's all. ✨ https://t.co/HmwBZqGfEn

Wow, his vasectomy grew back? He had testicular cancer, but she got pregnant anyway, many times. Then he had a vasectomy, but the canal grew back, so she’s had even more babies. Super sperm guy! Now he’s planning another vasectomy. Luckily, he’s wealthy and can afford so many kids. The older ones go to boarding school and live on campus during school year. I can’t imagine being pregnant that many times.
There aren’t enough adults being used as slave labor in the privatized for-profit prison system, so let’s get some kids in there and ramp up productivity!
Pirro: "I would lower the age of accountability. I would lower it -- 14, 15, 16, and 17. I could graduate it in terms of the crime, but I've got to have 16 and 17 year olds subject to my jurisdiction or else the city goes to hell no matter what we do with the adults. Wait until this summer. It's only gonna get worse."
