This is so maddening and heartbreaking- I’m not sure from a policy standpoint what the fix is. DWI 5 was in 2015, do we want to provide a path back into society and driving again or do we want to say after #5 you never get a license again? I truly don’t know the best path here.

It's inconceivable that there's any defendable reason for this. How does anyone justify covering the U.S. prison system while specifically excluding the voices of those within that system, those most impacted by that system, as anything other than outright oppression?
