@realPatriot_7 I remember being scolded by a 1SG that had been a DS about this. Afterwards I kindly referred him to this and explained why I wasn’t at the position of attention like everyone else.
Why the Army thinks a French Manicure is an “obnoxious” color compared to the civilian world which views it as an understated yet professional look is beyond me. But I have to be in uniform tomorrow, so here we are. It looked nice while it lasted.
@UnderSecArmy Can we get the 2.5 walk back at the end of the ACFT instead of the rower🥴. Doing 10k after those events doesn’t even remotely compare to a 2 mile run
@16thSMA #1 Outdated height and weight standards. Too many “leaders” don’t care for their Soldiers and lack compassion. Toxic leaders don’t get punished just given more opportunities to be more toxic.
Reason#11 I luv being a female in uniform
This afternoon the first Soldier to find their first target was a female PFC in a braided bob, coached by a female SFC with pink nails and earrings in. I’d like to think our appearance didn’t hinder the mission not one bit!
Fun facts:
*females used to wear nail polish and lipstick in their Duty Uniforms prior to 2013
*nail polish nor lipstick has hindered readiness
* we aren’t trying to seek attention from male Soldiers
*the Army already had a SHARP problem before the update
