Asking why? is one powerful word that has helped me get to the bottom of things.
It clarifies motives, and sets the direction to acquire the tools, inspiration and motivation to drive power through any goal.
On a growth note, I think the new tax implementation will force most small business owners to really understand how money comes and goes.
Which money belongs to the business, and the profit that comes out of the business at the end of the day.
@cacnigeria1 What about the previous paid stamp duties? Has that been fixed as well, because it is still redirecting to new payment page rather than confirming the previous payments
Government officials in Nigeria 🇳🇬, you are leading people and the people have a right to evaluate your work.
Except if what the people are highlighting and saying is a lie then…. but If it’s true, listen, repent and fix it rather than try to bully, ban or shut the people up!
Time is running out, God cannot be mocked!
Repentance- Revival - Restoration!
In Nigeria, everyone talks tough, on the streets, at press conferences, in WhatsApp groups, and behind microphones. It's almost a national sport. Strong words. Bold declarations. Fiery speeches. But words, as powerful as they can be, are not enough.
I recall a conversation that left a lasting impression on me, one of those rare moments when a simple sentence shifts something deep within you. I was sitting with Mr. @PeterObi, and in the middle of our discussion, he said:
“I’m not against anyone talking tough, but live tough.”
That statement struck a chord. He wasn’t dismissing the need for honesty, for calls to integrity, prudence, or accountability. Far from it. What he was saying is that these things, truth, discipline, justice, humility, must go beyond slogans and speeches. They must be lived out. Modeled. Practiced in silence when no one is applauding.
I remember vividly the day we travelled to Kafanchan in Southern Kaduna. As we moved through that community, he turned to me and said, “I want to see more people going to places like Borno, Zamfara, Niger, Kaduna, Benue, Katsina etc. To the hard, remote, and forgotten parts of this country. Not just when it’s convenient or politically beneficial, but when it’s uncomfortable, dangerous, and even thankless.”
He wasn’t speaking out of sentiment. He meant it.
“I want to see those who truly live humbly, not those who merely preach about humility. I want to see people dwell among the poor, not just mention them in speeches. I want transparency to be something you live, not just something you reference.”
Those words came alive yesterday when we visited Bokkos in Plateau State. Just like many other places we went to, the people welcomed us warmly, but their message was the same, and it was heartbreaking:
“Even our own representatives, our senators and leaders, have not come here to see us.”
People in their own country, neglected and unseen, abandoned by those elected to serve them. And yet here was Mr @PeterObi, no big entourage, no crafting narratives, just presence. Just listening. Just being there.
Mr. @PeterObi didn’t just talk about Nigeria, he went to every corner of it. He showed up, again and again. No fanfare. No entourage of noise. Just the discipline of presence.
That’s staying power. That’s leadership that outlasts applause.
In this country, we don’t need more tough talk. We need people whose lives speak louder than their words.
If you must talk tough, let your daily walk carry the weight of your convictions. Let your values show, even when no one is watching.
Because Nigeria will not be transformed by volume, it will be transformed by vision, courage, and the consistency to show up when it matters most.
The change we seek is possible.
But you must be the change.

Imagine my dream becomes a reality. A room full of innovators pitching bold ideas. Teams brainstorming solutions that could change industries or even lives. And you’re there. But… who are you in this story? Judge, Ambassador or Applicant? https://t.co/Vr6E7qnfew
Now I understand why mindset and focus are so powerful. Ultimately, the things we think about end up materialising in our actions - whether consciously or unconsciously.
“If you put red ants & black ants in a glass jar, nothing happens. But if the jar is shaken, the two sets of ants will fight each other. But the real enemy is the person who shook the jar. The same is true in society. Before we fight each other, we must ask: Who shook the jar?”
