nah, we'd win 🏆
Cipher just wrapped up @ETHGlobal New Delhi with insane winnings of USD 19,500!
600+ projects. 25 countries.
And somehow, it still felt like a Cipher demo day 😂
🚀 Cipher Achievement Recap
The past few months have been packed with wins, milestones, and inspiring contributions from our community.
From hackathon victories to impactful open-source contributions, Cipher members have continued to raise the bar wherever they go. 🧵👇
🌟 @rudra9439 received a Google Summer of Code Mentor invitation.
Another big win for the community as he takes on the role of mentoring contributors and giving back to the open-source ecosystem.
It’s been 2 days since the @LNMHacks 8.0 is over and the experience was no less than extraordinary. But I had an ulterior motive!
First, let’s talk about the event:
The students behind the whole event poured their hearts to make it an unforgettable experience, everything went down really well.
Shoutout to Amartya, Harshit & Lakshay for managing everything including the team.
Coming to hackathon, 487 developers came, lot of newbies, lot of experienced ones. Around 150 projects were submitted with a lot of variation & complexity which for me is the x-factor of the hackathon. Mentored a lot of people and learnt a lot from them.
Coming to my personal motivation, I wanted to meet the whole club personally because I know how well the alumnus are doing. I believe these are the students who can build the next generation of successful startups in the Indian Ecosystem, make blockchain & decentralized economy friendly if groomed properly.
When the meeting started, I thought it will take around 15 to 20 minutes but it ended being almost 2 hours long while discussing a lot of things such as current condition of startups in India & the whole world, why YC is so prominent, what if we have to do everything without YC, we specifically discussed about Paul Graham & Sam Altman & a lot more.
The students were so focused on understanding that we completely forgot the time & I am highly bullish on them.
I planned a few things before going to Jaipur but I think it’s not enough, they deserve more & I hope I can provide them with whatever knowledge & resources I have.
To the wider community, you need a place like @cipher_lnmiit to understand properly about tech, if you don’t have one just create a small group of dedicated & mad folks & start learning, building. Attend events like LNM Hacks to grow more but the most important thing is you need to stay consistent & dedicated. There should be no weekends or gaps in your schedule, you need to do the hustle everyday!
Lastly shoutout to @rudransh190204 for being fully supportive during the session & the hackathon!
Update!!
3/10 of top 10 problem statements(ideas) came from @cipher_lnmiit
i guess, the efforts of that workshop was worth it.
time to ship those ideas into real product.
so much can be achieved with x402 on base

📍 LNMIIT, jaipur
@IndiaDefi This is a much needed step. Policy, research and dialogue have to move in parallel with building. Glad to see serious efforts like IDA taking shape in India
@circle@arc Thanks for sharing always useful to see how infra and builder support is evolving, especially with @LNMHacks 8.0, our upcoming Web3 hackathon, around the corner.

This x402 workshop came together at the last moment. I just wanted to contribute to @BasedIndia.
Glad to see the effort paid off.
I wouldn’t judge project quality from a single workshop, but it’s great to see @cipher_lnmiit taking part.
Couldn’t have done it without @rudransh190204 🙌
