@RCPatriota@davepl1968@GadSaad But who fucked these places up in the first place with insane, unnatural borders and little things like forced christianity, post-slavery and post-colonialism? Oh yeah, the "winning" culture
@elonmusk Have you even tried this search yourself? What appalling lies you are peddling. It's abhorrent, manipulative, and yet seemingly effective since hundreds of thousands appear to agree without checking even something as simple as this 🤦
@elonmusk Things were a lot less insane in the world leadership circus when Chomsky said that the Republican party had already become (before Trump) the organisation posing the greatest existential threat to humankind. Choose the lesser evil, then take action!

@RpsAgainstTrump We had a similar situation in late 2000, in Romania. A potentially disastrous candidate from a far-right party or the incumbent ex-Communist party leader turned democratic. On voting day I was arriving in Tokyo for a conference and went straight to the embassy to vote not-insane!
This isn't an American problem at all. How we deal with it might be different, but I hope we will deal with it, for "We cannot expect [government] and the tech companies to save us. We must change ourselves and our communities."
@chris_herd Maybe you're looking for sophistication and muted nuance... 'cause in my experience, single malt scotch comes with explosions of flavour that may seem brash or unsophisticated, but are very tasty :)
'93 at university, seems like yesterday that I crashed the https://t.co/Q2jqsNJe6b network by playing Quake over the Internet against friends in Germany
What's the cure for nausea, a la Sartre? A hefty dose of the new existentialism. Get in on the action here, 19 June, as I look at a forgotten tradition of consciousness studies. https://t.co/0ApG8mlZzA
Consciousness is the primary and most immediate experience we all have. Before knowing our name or who we are, before being able to recognize any specific experience we are undergoing, the immediate realization that “I am” is always there.
