@KobeManX8 Sometimes TOs intentionally exclude smash for good reason. The population in smash can be huge so it pulls from the attention of all other games and there is such a small amount of crossover between smash and other fighters. hosting an event with both is often not fruitful.
@KobeManX8 For opinions: it doesn’t really matter if it’s a fighting game. People play it as one. It counts but there’s enough fundamentals from traditional 2D fighters that does not exist in smash. It’s enough to define it different.
@PowerPlugg20 I imagine they are just catching up with pre tourney feedback. They are addressing major issues this soon so I think we can at least have hope for 2-3 patches.
@MicroMakesMusic@Son_Dula@InvincibleVS I haven’t personally tested this but I’ve never accidentally gotten boost dash by doing this. This seems currently a great option for a different input that “dash plus boost button”.
@MicroMakesMusic@Son_Dula@InvincibleVS I’d way prefer a motion into dash macro over adding another button and being forced to press a button combo I will only ever press for one single purpose.
@Artdepartment_@zandowastaken So I’m 3-5 hits in on assist but it looks like I’m hitting point for 2 of those hits and now I’m punished for reacting to the correct visual stimulus. It’s not the same as other tag fighters and for the record Ì like 2XKO.
@Artdepartment_@zandowastaken 2XKO has visual clutter but it’s OFTEN very literally in the way of you knowing what’s going on. For example, I can often be 3-5 hits in on the assist but I can’t tell because the assist occupies same visual space as point and has hit sparks the same as hitting the point.
@Jamesdad76@KI_Storm179 For sure! Even easier fighting games (executionally) don’t really solve the ego beating you have to take to play FGs. Some casuals are never going to be able to handle taking them seriously.
@TommyToledoFGC Balance is tough but I’m late 30s and honestly fighting games are one of the best things I’ve ever done. I feel like I should’ve wasted even more time.
