(The vast majority of ppl have been) We havent gotten a single mail truck since last FRI. Postmaster picked a tiny bit up in a van on SAT. We delivered w/o scanning. Sorted mail by lantern in the heat

Thick metal roofs peeled off&crumbled up...but I've never personally seen THIS much damage in such a small area. I'm in my 30s & ppl in their 70s agree

Sometimes it feels like more power poles are down than up right now. I don't think that's a huge exaggeration. We understand how hard they're working <3

I've driven over more power lines & under more hanging telephone poles over the past week than I have my whole 32 years living here. 1grocery store open for many miles. A Lowes or 2 & a drive up pharmacy. That's it!
