If you like this kind of aesthetic, I was reminded in the comments of the existence of a dedicated account: @Giscard_Punk
There are also plenty of other references shared in the comments.
What's funny is that some people get worked up about the term "Giscard-Punk" as if I invented it. This term has been circulating for at least 10 years in certain French-speaking communities. My first encounter with the term Formica-Punk dates back to 2011 in a post by the comic book author Boulet. And I have no idea if he coined it.
Some people with a high opinion of themselves feel compelled to reject an artistic movement or a label simply because they've never heard of it before. It often reminds me of the very self-centered American perspective, which only considers its own artistic influences, while other continents exist with their layered cultures.
I'll finish with another selection of inspiring images more or less related to this topic.

This retro-futuristic, typically French style fascinates me. I'd love to work on a universe like that.

Probably one solar system would be destroyed
