Braz Costa, Diretor-geral do CITEVE, foi reeleito vice-presidente da Textile ETP, em representação da Textranet, durante a assembleia geral da organização, no Terminal de Cruzeiro do Porto de Leixões, à margem do iTechStyle Summit e Conferência Anual da ETP.

Para presidente foi eleita Marina Crnoja-Cosic que substitui na liderança da Textile ETP Michael Kamm, que assume agora o cargo de vice-presidente-tesoureiro, em representação da Euratex. O mandato, de dois anos, desta nova direção terá início no primeiro dia de julho de 2023.

Finally, we discovered biobased processes such as synthetic biology and bacteria-based dyeing, which have the potential to transform the industrial landscape, paving the way for new models of production that prioritize environmental and social responsibility! ⚙️

In our 2nd session on ecodesign, we focused on the Digital Product Passport & blockchain.

Traceability may be the🔑to decarbonise the economy, transforming linear industrial value chains to minimise pollution, making better use of waste, & guaranteeing environmental standards.

First session on ecodesign: our speakers urged to see the value in textile by-products instead of treating them as waste, & stressed the need for collaboration in the value chain!

Ecodesign first keeps products usable as long as possible & then uses innovative recycling methods.
