Before They Deceive You Into Burning Nigeria Like They Are Burning Nepal
Please fact-check me: The Lagos State Government built the best forensic laboratory in Africa, and that facility was burnt to the ground, along with other multibillion Naira public infrastructure, during the #EndSARS protests.
That was why MohBad's autopsy had to be done in America rather than Nigeria, making us look like a big for nothing country.
Eighty BRT buses and several courthouses and police stations were also razed during that protest, and according to the Organised Private Sector, the damage to Lagos stood at $305 million.
The funny thing is that many of those who led the EndSARS protests in Lagos were neither from Lagos nor even paid taxes in Lagos. Interestingly, they came from states with a humongously worse government than Lagos State. Yet their states were left unharmed while they inflicted serious damage on Lagos's economy.
And then last year's Days of Rage protest inflicted damage worth ₦200 billion on Northern Nigeria, and almost destabilised Nigeria to the point where Russian flags were being paraded to instigate a Burkina Faso/Mali/Niger type regime change in Nigeria.
So think twice now that they are again instigating you to replicate the Nepal protests in Nigeria.
I have been to Nepal. Nigeria is a much better-governed space than Nepal. We are a politically stable and economically progressive country.
Nigeria is the only African country where five former Presidents or Heads of State live peacefully and work with the incumbent government via the Council of State. Before General Buhari's sad death, there were six. Now, there are five, including General Gowon, President Obasanjo, General Babangida, General Abubakar, and President Jonathan.
And our economy expanded by $67 billion in just two years, moving Nigeria's GDP from a ₦269.29 trillion economy on May 29, 2023, when Asiwaju became President, to ₦372.8 trillion today.
Meanwhile, almost a million indigent students are benefiting from the Student Loan Initiative of the Federal Government.
However, if these incidents of good governance are still not satisfactory and you want to replicate the Nepali protests locally, then please, by all means, start from your state of origin!

Kano Anti-Graft Agency Discovers Facility Where federal Government 28 trucks of Rice Relief Supplies Are Rebagging.
The operation, which occurred at a warehouse in the Hotoro Western Bye-pass, was conducted under the leadership of the commission’s chairman, Barrister Muhuyi Magaji.
During a press briefing regarding the recent discovery, Magaji disclosed that approximately 28 trucks filled with rice palliatives, which were allocated by the Federal Government, are believed to have been diverted for the purpose of repackaging and selling in the open market.
He said, “We have uncovered a serious case of mismanagement and diversion of public goods. These palliatives were meant for the poor and vulnerable, but unfortunately, some individuals are trying to profit from the suffering of the people.
“The commission will leave no stone unturned in ensuring that those responsible for this act of corruption are brought to justice. We are also working to recover the palliatives and ensure their proper distribution to the intended beneficiaries.
“This is shameful and heartless. People are struggling, and yet some individuals are stealing from the poor. We commend the anti-graft agency for taking swift action.”
President Tinubu has allocated 1,200 bags of rice to each minister for distribution as part of the relief efforts.
The Minister of Solid Minerals Development, Dr. Dele Alake, has announced that the 1,200 bags of rice provided by the Presidency as support for communities will be distributed exclusively to the elderly in the state.
Alake shared this information through a statement released by his Special Assistant on Media, Segun Tomori, which was made public in Ado Ekiti on Sunday.
He said, “Following the decision of the Presidency to respond to the yearnings of the Nigerian people to make more food available at the grassroots, 1,200 bags were made available to each minister to further supplement the established channels of distribution such as state governments and civic organisations.”
“Will be channelled to the aged only.
We need to reach out to our aged fathers and mothers at times like this to demonstrate the Omoluabi values of taking care of the old in the community.
“In the spirit of inclusion, it is important that we channel this intervention to mainly elderly citizens who do not have the strength to compete for welfare goods such as these at the established centres. We have taken their inventory and we are delivering to them.
“Subsequent interventions will target other segments of the populace such as widows, orphans, persons living with disabilities and students in higher institutions of learning,”

How To Develop Your Mind To Attract Wealth
Your life cannot evolve beyond your thoughts. Ideate. Take time to contemplate. That is how million-dollar ideas enter your mind. Newton discovered the Law of Gravity while thinking under an apple tree.
There are many self-improvement exercises, including working out, mindfulness, affirmations, visualisation, playing chess, listening to classical music, travelling to places where new cultures exist, learning to play the piano or guitar, etc.
However, none gives you as many life-changing benefits as reading and meditating.
Never underestimate the big difference small changes to your lifestyle can make. Reading, meditating, and then ideating increase your success quotient by a factor that is impossible to determine right now because of the diversity of benefits it gives you.
Disappear for a while. Stay off the grid. And then put these eternal principles to work, and you will grow. And you will know that you are growing.
Become a ghost for at least six months. Use absence to improve your presence by developing your mind, body and spirit. Meditate on how you can build your finances. It works. I have the most paid subscribers on the X You platform because I meditate daily on how to make money and feed my ideations to my subscribers who use it to make money.
You, too, think and grow rich. Implement your plans. Then, resurrect as a successful person. Following which, you let your success, not your mouth, announce your return!
When you emerge from your self-development retreat, do not call people on impulse or because you need them.
Instead, just be your new self. The way you think, speak and act will change. You will stop demanding attention and will begin commanding respect. Your words will be fewer but more profound and more impactful. Gradually, the growth you have made within will be matched by my material growth without.
Your relevance will increase. A small circle will begin to call you. As long as you continue on the path of self-development, that circle will continue getting larger until you reach the point where nobody refuses to take your call or return your texts.

Can Air Peace Survive Emirates Return to Nigeria?
It is a fundamental error for Allen Onyema to see British Airways, Virgin, KLM, Lufthansa and other European airlines in that class as his competition. Those airlines are in the upper range of the global aviation industry and will nearly always be full on the Lagos-London, and Abuja-London routes. Why? Because Nigerians have become used to them and even see them as a status symbol. I don't support that. However, I am a realist.
The chief competitor for Air Peace will be lower-budget airlines, that can even sell tickets at a loss to squeeze out a rival. Airlines like Ethiopian Airlines, Egypt Air, Royal Maroc, Kenya Airways, Turkish Airlines, RwandAir, etc.
During the xenophobic attacks in South Africa, I helped buy tickets for Nigerians fleeing South Africa, and the prices I saw for RwandAir do not make sense, even today. Those guys can charge almost nothing. It is hard to beat their price.
And the reason these airlines listed above can offer rock-bottom prices is because they have the support of their governments.
Without the support of the Nigerian government, Air Peace WILL lose the price war on the Lagos-London route. And they will lose not to British Airways (which is not a national airline). They will lose to Ethiopian Airways, Egypt Air, RwandAir, or Royal Maroc.
If you go on Expedia right now, the only advantage that Air Peace has over these other non European airlines is that they offer a direct flight. Other than that, they are beaten on price. Will Nigerians pay higher for a direct Air Peace flight?
The cheapest Lagos to London flight on Expedia is from RwandAir. Then Air France. Then Egypt Air. Ethiopian Airlines follows closely. Next is Kenya Airways.
Let me shock you. Air Peace is not even on Expedia. And Expedia is the world's largest seller of airline tickets. In 2023 alone, they sold a staggering $12.08 billion worth of airline tickets and hotel rooms. More than any website.
Now, why am I saying this? The Federal Government is negotiating to get Emirates back into Nigeria. Why? Do they realise that Emirates is one of the most powerful airlines in the world, with a revenue of $29.3 billion for the financial year 2022-2023?
What is the benefit of Emirates returning to Nigeria for our country? Already, Air Peace is losing the price war for the Lagos-London route to RwandAir, Egypt Air, Turkish Airlines and Royal Maroc, and you want to introduce Emirates into the mix?
I know Emirates very well. It is probably the best managed airline on Earth. They can afford to sell tickets for a route at a sustained loss until they destroy their competition. They have the revenue and the reserves to sustain a temporary loss. If they return to Nigeria, Air Peace may become a sardine competing with a barracuda.
Let us think this thing through. Except we do not want Air Peace to survive. Is it more important for Nigeria to get Emirates back than for Air Peace to succeed?
I think our focus as a nation should be looking for ways to confer as many advantages as possible to Air Peace in this price war, so that they can succeed and turn a profit. The aviation industry is brutal. The profit margins are slim if you are not as big as BA or Emirates.
Again, I urge that we should think this through. I know that Emirates left under Buhari because of inability to repatriate their revenue from Nigeria. Maybe that is the way to help Air Peace win this war. Perhaps Nigeria may make it not too hard, but also not too easy for foreign airlines to repatriate their revenues. That small ojoro, or mago-mago, can give Air Peace all the edge she needs to win this price war.
How do you think all these other government-linked airlines are able to offer such ridiculously low fares? Their own governments do small wayo to help them. Let us not be naive!
