๐ Referee announced for 2026 #SuperCup!
We're pleased to share that Somali referee Omar Artan will officiate the highly anticipated match between PSG and Aston Villa in Salzburg.
The World Cup begins tomorrow, and many will watch the matches. Soccer reminds us of something we must not forget: life is not a race to show off on our own, but a path we learn to walk together. Anyone who does not know how to pass the ball, even if they have talent, has not yet understood the game. Anyone who does not know how to live with and for others has not yet understood life. #ApostolicJourney
1. This is the front page of the Daily Graphic. A govt- sponsored newspaper that has for some strange reasons decided to gloss over major positive govt activities but instead focus on negative happenings.
2. As we speak, the Prez is in Europe seeking investments from the British and Belarusians for the Nation. A major news item
3. As we speak, the Vice Prez has toured some flood prone areas in Accra and visited Alajo in the company of the Interior Minister, GAR Minister, Accra Mayor etc. A major news item
4. As we speak, Govt has successfully evacuated nearly 1000 Ghanaians stranded in South Africa due to xenophobic attacks. A major news item
5. Yet, the Editor of the Daily Graphic has once again, deliberately decided to highlight on its front page, a strike action by KATH doctors because the CEO has been suspended by the KATH Board for some alleged admin misjudgments pending investigations. Nobody is above the law. We are all subject to discipline of the law.
6. So for Daily Graphic to highlight whatโs really a disciplinary issue render major govt policy moves as footnotes on its front page is journalistically most undesirable.
I leave it hereโฆโฆ.

Iโm sure people will be posting videos mocking Ronaldo for crying after scoring his second goal to secure the title, but this type of passion for winning even after everything he has achieved is what we should want from every player. None of that nonchalant nonsense
No court should have the authority to speculatively decide whether a person is likely to commit another offense, except where there is sufficient proof of that intent and preparation to commit an offense
The mere fact that a person has been arrested, charged, or prosecuted multiple times is not evidence of a likelihood of committing multiple offenses.
But our body of bail law is as bad as the economy.
