@mikepompeo Define this 'fight'.
Define this 'win'.
Please be specific.
There is no 'win' to be had in this... Everyone is losing.
Its continuation, and our involvement, is to the detriment of American citizens.
@MargoinWNC The citizens of Pitt County do not benefit from this man's childish, environment destroying antics.
And now the state is subsidizing it...
Disgraceful.
@RoyCooperNC You were a terrible Attorney General, a terrible Governor, and would be a terrible Senator.
You are dishonest and should never again hold any position of authority.
You are a detriment to the citizens of North Carolina.
@MarcACaputo@Oilfield_Rando But, but, but, it's really the cameras capturing the crimes...
That should be the 'focus'... That's the 'big picture'...
The horror of the precious crime statistics being exposed for the manipulated partisan tool that they are.
That sir, is wildly deranged.
@bungarsargon The sad reality is ma'am that a skeptic is exactly what is needed in this position.
In an industry and town filled with propagandized fanatics, skepticism forces nuance and provides some clarity.
The actual danger comes from the unchallenged corrupted purveyors of 'The Science'
@lwoodhouse We are exceptional.
While we may classify ourselves in different ways - blood and soil definitely matters. It was, and will never be, 'left behind'.
@itscarterhughes Maybe pain relief should come from a dr.. but it doesn't.
Ineffective non-opioid 'alternatives' pushed by drs are driving this problem.
The fear of losing their license due to fearmongering and misguided policy has most practicing the art of self-preservation, not medicine.
@Pontifex@VaticanIHD While the welcoming of migrants and refugees in a place where there is the 'recognition of the dignity of all as children of God' is admirable, not a family, community, or living witness of society can it create or sustain.
Rules, driven by compassion AND logic are necesary.
@elonmusk The only American citizens that will benefit from this misguided crusade are the very inhabitants of the 'uniparty' system with which you profess disagreement.
Sad.
@joesromano@NCHouseDems @NCGovernor_ I disagree strongly with most of the points made in the video, but I respect that many of the small local operations are well intentioned and trying to do what's best for the shared fishery overall.
@joesromano@NCHouseDems @NCGovernor_ Appreciate the good faith reply... especially due to my sarcasm and cynicism.
Just sucks to never make progress.
Seeing the fishery erode over decades with constantly restricted limits, season cancellations, and one directional blame for declining populations, is disheartening.
@dogwoodblooms@MargoinWNC@TheShawnHendrix We may disagree here, but just wanted to say again; I appreciate what you guys do and thanks to all of you for fighting for North Carolina.
@dogwoodblooms@MargoinWNC@TheShawnHendrix I agree... generally.
Freedom requires balance. - And there currently is not much of that.
We are sacrificing one tradition(rec. fishing) at the expense of another(comm. fishing).
The status-quo will lead to the preservation of tradition for no one. - That is my main point.
@dogwoodblooms@MargoinWNC@TheShawnHendrix I am not for destroying livelihoods.
This will not do that.
Life is complicated.
The conditions of life are ever-changing.
Certain ways of life are not sustainable forever.
There will be nothing left for this way of life at all (for anyone here) if the status quo continues.
