@pcgamer@jeffgerstmann always had a soft spot for this game, despite some of it's flaws. I never played it, but always wanted to because of his love for it.
@DaveOshry Dave, you, and New Blood in general, seem pretty tuned in to the game world. I think it'd be cool to have your, and the other dev's too if they want, Curator picks. It'd be kinda cool to see what ya'll highlight.
@DaveOshry Been using the feature for awhile now. It let's you customize a collection quite a bit to your personal preferences, and at a glance see what games fit your parameters. Having the collection be dynamic is cool too, as, if memory serves, will auto add games that fit the filter.
@DaveOshry Dave, just for the historical context, I believe you should play the original. I grew up playing PC FPS, but also played Halo. It's absolutely different than 90s pc FPS, but not in a bad way--a combat puzzle shooter some say. The story is decent enough as well. Give it a go!
@DaveOshry That is to say, I remember hearing about Prey 2 & people seeming to come away, at the least, interested in what they would maybe do with Prey 2. Prey DOES end with a screen that says "Prey will continue..." So I guess they planned a sequel, though this is tonally way different.
@DaveOshry Just finished playing through Prey (2006) for the first time about a week ago. The gunplay is pretty boring & generic, but the portal aspect, gravity walkways, & set pieces are still really neat. The Native American stuff is also unique. The game deserves to be preserved.
@miss__slaughter Yuuup, I agree. I had already moved my phone away from bed at night to charge, & have been keeping it out of arms reach during the day at work/home. All in hopes of living more in the moment, & reducing the habit. It IS bad with my ADHD & so much on social is really negative. 😵
@miss__slaughter In fact, I think I've talked myself in to removing it from my phone. I can always look at it on my PC. 😆 Everyone else, free yourself as well, lol.
@miss__slaughter I assume I could only use it at my PC and that's limit my interaction quite a lot, and I'd also waste less time on my phone. I've seen some say there's the potential to withdraw completely from socializing, but I don't necessarily agree with that. Let us know how it goes for you.
@giantbomb Wow, no way! Tbh, as someone who has followed GB from the beginning, it returning to its origins of independency was the only way I would have come back after Fandom's fumble of the website. Congrats to all of you, a true win for GB and for what GB has always represented!
