The UAE has now absorbed 2,514 drones (81%) & missiles (19%) — twice Israel’s volume, 47% of all GCC strikes & a third of total Iran-linked regional attacks.
As Abu Dhabi signals joining the Hormuz coalition, IRGC attacks are likely to intensify: ballistic & cruise missile use both rose in the final week.
#JapaneseGP
The UAE 🇦🇪 just crossed 2,000 IRGC drones & missiles in 19 days
That’s
🔹More than Houthi strikes on Saudi over 7 years (1,400+)
🔹40% of Iran-linked regional volume
🔹2.4× more than Israel
🔹Double the rest of GCC
🔹The busiest defence regionally
It’s an attrition front

Aside from the obvious power deficit to Mercedes' that became apparent right away, the SF-26 appears to be the weakest in terms of software reliability.
We had issues with both cars in Melbourne during Q2/3. China FP1, I noticed the exact same problem on both cars.
In Q3, we encountered yet another software-related issue with car 16. If you ignore the misalignment of the traces, you can see no major discrepancies in deployment on any other straight. Yet, it decided to cut 15 kph (334-319) on the back straight compared to the Q2 lap.
We should in fact be locking out the 2nd row on the evidence of the two qualifying sessions without these issues, paying around 0.6s to Mercedes. McLaren are closing in with their understanding of the systems of the Mercedes power unit.
