After 4 weeks of waiting in kennels, we have made the difficult decision to also consider rehoming Mary and Midge separately
These two lovely older Chihuahua girls have had a lot of interest, and we have replied to every enquiry we’ve received. Unfortunately, despite the interest, nobody has yet come forward to arrange a meeting with them or progress with a rehoming application.
They simply don’t deserve to spend their days waiting in kennels, so we feel we have to widen their options and look for the right homes for them individually. ❤️
🏡 MARY — 8+ years old
• Female Chihuahua
• Looking for a home as the ONLY RESIDENT DOG
• Adults-only home
• We are looking for someone who can give Mary the time, patience and loving retirement home she deserves.
🏡 MIDGE — 8+ years old
• Female Chihuahua
• May be able to live with a calm, small, neutered resident dog, subject to introductions
• Children aged 12+
• Looking for a quiet, loving home where she can settle in and enjoy her retirement.
❤️ MARY & MIDGE CAN STILL BE REHOMED TOGETHER
If the right person or family comes forward who would like to offer them a home together, we will absolutely still consider this. We know they have spent a lot of time together, and a shared home would be wonderful if the right opportunity comes along.
However, after 4 weeks with no rehoming applications progressing, we cannot let the lack of interest in a joint home mean these girls remain in kennels indefinitely.
They are both deserving of a warm home, a comfy bed and someone to love them. 🥺❤️

The bigger boy was absolutely emaciated as you can see and the little tiny girl was also extremely thin.
They really love each other but we know how hard it is to get them a home together.
The bigger boy is Lilo and the mini girl around 6mths old is Lila.

In the next 2 days we are facing a major heatwave 🥵 we are INCREDIBLY worried about leaving both Lily 🤍 and Lottie 🌸 in kennels, even tonight!! … But especially in the heat we are expecting with their stress levels 🆘‼️
🤍 Lily is a 10 yr old small Cocker Spaniel. Super sweet, sensitive, busy and has most definitely had many puppies.
🌸 Lottie is a 12 yr old (according to her chip!!) Cockapoo 💔 she doesn’t look her age at all and is super friendly and just desperate for company.
