The powerful message behind the Fenerbahçe choreography:

“YOU CREATED ME; YOU ARE THE REASON FOR THIS SPITE AND HATRED...!”

*Dr. Frankenstein* is a work that has deeply affected me ever since I first read the book and watched the film.

For those unfamiliar with the story, let me summarize it:

• Victor Frankenstein, a young scientist found dying amidst the glaciers of the North Pole, is an ambitious medical student driven to unlock the secret of life and transcend the boundaries of death.

• He assembles body parts from human and animal corpses collected from graveyards and morgues, and succeeds in breathing life into this inanimate form using an electric current.

• However, horrified by the hideousness of the being he has created, he flees, abandoning it alone in the laboratory.

• Though initially pure, eager to learn, and full of love, the creature is constantly shunned and subjected to violence by people because of its appearance.

• Rejected by society and even by its own creator, the creature descends into a deep spiral of loneliness and rage.

• It begs Victor to create a mate for it, but Victor refuses the request at the last moment.

• In retaliation, the creature takes revenge by killing Victor’s close friends and his wife.

• Victor pursues the nightmare he created all the way to the North Pole; there, he falls ill and passes away after recounting his story to Captain Walton. The creature, too, vanishes into the darkness, consumed by remorse and grief.

• The novel poses the question: "WHO IS THE REAL MONSTER? The creator, or the created?" • It reveals how a lack of love, exclusion, and prejudice can devastate a soul.

With the message "You created me; *you* are the cause of this spite and hatred," the choreography delivers a powerful message to the TFF and UEFA.
