@robbystarbuck In saying this, are you including mothers who aborted their babies? Do they all deserve the death penalty, too? And what about the men who took part?
@JustinPetersMin You sound like a Catholic here, categorizing sin. Mortal vs. Venial. Doesn't your own sin also put you in the category of one deserving public execution? Are you calling for the public execution of all women who have had abortions? Be consistent. LC had a psychotic break.
@ChrisLemke4OR Thank you for caring enough to check on this person. My daughter has schizophrenia and wanders the world aimlessly, so sick and afraid. I pray daily that God will send kind people her way to help her. These people have families who love and miss them. It’s devastating.
@alisa_childers Not “a supporter” but my daughter has schizophrenia. If she had kids & killed them, I’d ultimately blame the horrific illness. But for the psychosis, she wouldn’t have done this. SMI is something most people don’t understand unless they live w/it. LC had a psychotic break.
@Protestia Third Day did this with World Vision and I sponsored a kid in Africa for while. Had they disclosed getting a kickback of $500 I probably wouldn’t have done it.
@alisa_childers I see things a bit differently. I'm a mom to a daughter (31) w/schizophrenia. Honors student, had a sudden psychotic break 13 yrs ago -very different than PPP. Psychosis is terrifying; causing people to lose touch w/reality & do things they would never otherwise do. Let her cook?
@Protestia The arrogance he embodied, in and out of the pulpit, is why I couldn't stand him originally. Sad to see he still lacks any real humility when asked about it.
@SuzieSeeksTruth@MarindaVannoy1 My daughter has schizophrenia. Psychosis can come out of nowhere, including the initial onset. With our daughter, 1 minute she was healthy, the next fully delusional. Post-partum psychosis may present differently, but it causes people to do things they wouldn't otherwise do.
@JimBobW49 oh my word... I laughed so hard! She nailed it (plus, this was basically my life from 10-18yrs old, so it resonates). The kazoo... hilarious. I have so much respect for cops. The things they have to deal with!
@Nonstopnews_@sentdefender My daughter has schizophrenia. People w/SMI often hear voices and/or have wild delusions. Not sure who this gal was; and I'm def. not diagnosing her - but just maybe she was sick, responding to internal stimuli and scared out of her mind?
@TheBabylonBee I'll never forget the day at a new church. Started a women's Bible study w/my newborn in her carseat. We're sitting in a circle. Just as prayer began, this precious baby at my feet proceeded to unload. The mother of all blow-outs went up her entire back and filled the carseat.
@reachjulieroys I was raised in a significantly dysfunctional home. Ages 10-18 destroyed me; then I became a believer at 18. Yet decades later I still deal w/feeling like an imposter, playing a part. To this day when going to church-this event-which I call "Happy Minute" is something I dread.
@MattWalshBlog My daughter has schizophrenia, so I know how quickly psychosis can hit, and that it can make someone say and do things they would never otherwise do. By all accounts she was a great mom prior to this. I feel great compassion for her - I am not a morally bankrupt imbecile.
@MAstronomers I was cleaning my house yesterday and needed background noise. I chose Planet Earth and David Attenborough taking me high into the Andes mountains to learn about sword-billed hummingbirds (whose beaks are longer than their bodies). It made mopping feel so proper & elegant.
