@DrJenGunter this was after my parents wrote off my complaints about "side aches" for 4 years, when they turned out to be Reflux nephropathy (urine back-flowing into right kidney and filling it like a balloon)

@DrJenGunter Right here. Had mine at age 10. they couldn't remove the entire ureter from the first incosion so they had to do a second incision just above my pelvic bone. 2 incisions and 2 tubes.

Got fluid in my lungs post surgery and they forced me to cough it up to avoid pneumonia. Spent 2 week post op in pediatric cancer ward for maximum physical and emotional trauma.
