So let me get this straight.
When a youtuber takes someone elses creation and presents it as their own, thats bad, they should get canceled.
When Mojang meets with a mod maker trying to get on the marketplace, gets shown this mod, and they 1 for 1 copy its functionality into the game without any heads up to the mod maker, or crediting them, thats ok?
This isn't just "they were inspired by a mod". The fact that these guys were trying to get this on the marketplace, and MET WITH MOJANG to show this mod to them, and the functionality of placing a cushion on anything is exactly what they are doing...
Nah man, I don't think thats a good precident to set. Something to say is "OK" to do... this is WAY different than them just seeing a cool mod out there in the wild, and bringing similar functionality to the game.
ok so this thing's getting a little out of hand- when i said no to the AI usage in the project, that was me saying i'm pretty confident tyscorp isn't vibecoding the thing
tyscorp is a full stack web developer by profession and can likely write things like this from scratch (1/4)
Don’t know why they’re making Switch 1 owners pay full price for Sonic Frontiers DE when Crossworlds did this properly where the Switch 2 edition was an upgrade path so it only costed $10 to upgrade. It made perfect sense and it was consumer-friendly.
Seems like they learned nothing cuz they’re doing the same shit that they did with Sonic X Shadow Generations where it’s FULL-priced with NO upgrade path for Switch 1 owners. Really hope this isn’t the case, but this is incredibly scummy on SEGA’s part.
