My students rocked their first STEM Challenge today! As part of our homes & habitats theme, we learned about bird nests then had to build one that would keep a bird warm and protect the eggs.#oaelem

STEM Word of the Day: dissolve! We practiced patterning by building a Skittles rainbow on the outside of the plates. We made predictions about what would happen and then used self-control to slowly pour warm water onto the plate. Little scientists at work!
