I wrote some new code to drive X-Plane directly rather than using the internal FDR playback, this lets me add in the Helicopter.
Given the lack of precise data on the helicopter's route I made a rough estimate on speed and altitude. And you can see it's hidden against city lights for a long time.
Be aware that the cockpit model is likely to be different and there's no data being sent to the gauges.
Just starting to sort through last week’s photos, but shots like this are always captivating.
Cold air enters through the lower front intake, flows through the radiator, and exits over the cockpit at a higher temperature, letting you see aerodynamics in action.

I captured the entire "Planetary Parade" using my 11" telescope, and combined everything into one composite photo that stayed true to the angular scale of these objects.
Made entirely with real photos, I hope this composite helps illustrate the scale of these things!
After flying to a peak altitude of ~90km, traveling more than 60 km downrange from Starbase, and completing its boostback burn and coast, Super Heavy ignited its landing burn less than 40 meters away from the preflight target.
The Raptor engines and booster guidance system precisely maneuvered the vehicle through the highest wind speeds yet for a Super Heavy landing burn.
Upgrades to the chopstick controls enabled them to start wider and move earlier for catch, expanding the envelope for booster landing burn trajectories.
