If we were talking Sargent or Sainz, I'd absolutely not want to strengthen them to our detriment. But if they want to pay silly money for a squad player, I'll take it.

But if he wants to go and they want to throw money away for him, I honestly don't think it's the disaster some are making it out to be.

@NorwichCityFC As a fan with a foot in both camps (family from Norfolk, grew up in Lincs), this is an exciting signing all round. Imps get a genuinely transformative transfer fee to bolster their ranks; Norwich get a young, homegrown player with potential to be brilliant.

@NorwichPure @LincolnCity_FC NCFC and LCFC fan. He's been playing a sort of inside forward role more recently, and he's been excellent. Can stay out wide and deliver a cross, or can cut in and drive at defenders.

If you'd told me two seasons back that Jovon Makama would attract Championship teams, I would have laughed at you.

Makama has come on leaps and bounds, especially with the positional shift.

To collect £1,500,000+ for him is ace.

@Midlandcanary88 @George__LCFC @LincolnCity_FC More of an inside forward: draws defenders out wide, then beats them on the shoulder to cut into the box.

As George says, he needs polish, but he has speed and physicality, the potential to be a finisher, and he's resilient having been put through the ringer a bit at LCFC.

@Mightyfifa99 He's very fast and uses his physicality well. His end product isn't always there, and he still needs polish, but he has tons of potential and he's worked hard in quite tough conditions at Lincoln. Will be interesting to see how we approach his development if he signs.

@pinkun Lincoln are my second team, and Makama was been the brightest spark there last season. Imps would be gutted to lose him, but he'd be an excellent addition to the squad, bags of potential.
