MILLIONS OF CAVITE COMMUTERS WHO HAVE WAITED SO LONG DESERVE ANSWERS
Senators Mark and Camille Villar are reportedly blocking the continuation of the Light Rail Transit Line 1 (LRT-1) extension project in Cavite, according to Ombudsman Jesus Crispin Remulla.

UPDATE: The Sandiganbayan dismissed the remaining asset claims in the forfeiture case against the Marcos family that had been pending for more than 30 years.
The resolution was issued after the Presidential Commission on Good Government (PCGG)—the agency mandated to recover alleged ill-gotten wealth of the Marcos family—said it would no longer present further evidence for the unresolved asset claims in Civil Case No. 0141.
The PCGG told the court that most of the properties had already been recovered through other civil actions.

the true progressive stance is culture (including food) is part of the universal heritage of mankind
food appropriation discourse is just ethno-nationalism with food
if one’s culture isn’t intentionally and/or maliciously being mis-used, then it’s fine to appreciate it
