10-3 for 20th at Indianapolis Regionals with Dragapult Hammers!
Built the deck to beat the mirror and all the Kang & Dunsparce and it did its job. Moltres is the MVP 🥇
First big finish comes with a lot of emotions, thank you to everyone for believing in me and supporting me ❤️
I need the JW Army, all sock accounts, and the lil flexers to please join in support of letting the bubble players in!
Over the season, I accumulated 720 points on only 29 Play Points, the fewest amount of Play Points of any NA player on the invite bubble. If there is a harsh cutoff, I'd fail to qualify this year.
Play Points are not a useful competitive metric for tiebreakers as they can be manipulated, such as a League reporting attendance for a player who didn't participate. I'm hopeful that a player's World's qualification is tied to the quality of their finishes in the tournaments they attend and not by simply attending more tournaments.
Pokemon has always emphasized community, sportsmanship and bringing people together. I'd love to see Pokémon extend invites to everyone on the invite cutoff in their respective regions rather than exclude players based on Play Points. The number of affected players would be small, and it would ensure that Worlds qualification is decided by competitive results rather than attendance!
@amcharles0 That could close that early lead a lot better forced me into wanting to go 2nd more often to have the best chance of setting up and getting the advantage with item lock first (2/2)
@amcharles0 I kinda had the opposite experience at Indy. Day 1 I felt like I could go first against my opponents that were less experienced on the deck than I was to take an early lead with the first Pult
Towards the end of Day 1 and all of Day 2, playing against better players (1/2)
@ManeManMitch Right back at you man, Columbus come to play! It was so sick getting to watch you represent on stream (even if it wasn’t the result we wanted)
I have a feeling we’ll be next to each other again at the next one 💪
