I think the issue with the midfield is that they don't see themselves as facilitators.
I might be wrong but if we're doing Wirtz then that's what I think they need to be, otherwise they will (at least at the beginning under the new manager) leave big spaces.
@QTalksFtbl If we don’t sign a proper holding midfielder, I don’t see how him playing in that 10 position with two midfielders with no proper holding midfielder is ever going to work. If we don’t sign one, I’d move him to left hand side. He naturally drifts left anyway. 🤷🏻♂️
Liverpool cannot afford to play two in midfield with Wirtz as a floating 10. It is far too weak. I’d personally rather see Wirtz from the left if he has to start. It’s going to be an awfully long season for us if we persist with this midfield set up! #LFC
Philip Kelly became the first Scouser in Liverpool’s team on November 26, 1892. In each of the club’s subsequent 133 campaigns, a man from the city has been picked to play for LFC. Curtis Jones joining Inter Milan means the sequence may end this season

Ndukwe is ineligible to play competitive games for #LFC at present due to work permit issues. However, because he is moving to La Liga, appearances for Levante would instantly take him to the level needed to be awarded a permit. Liverpool have option to recall him in January 🔴
Curtis Jones has today completed a permanent transfer to Internazionale, subject to international clearance.
All at Liverpool FC thank Curtis for his dedication and contribution to the club across the last 16 years, and wish him good luck in the next chapter of his career ❤️
