Waiting for the facts to see what happened. I saw some pilots saying a bird strike may have damaged hydraulics, impacting landing gear. We won’t know for a while

@therealphillipp @bennyjohnson Comparatively no. But major airlines will retire planes around this time in favor of newer ones. This one was flown by Ryanair from 2009-2016. Jeju air began leasing it in 2017. On avg 737s are engineered to last 20-30 years, depending on flight cycles.
