A year ago today, I took a leap of faith and resigned from my full-time job to go back to school. It wasn't easy- the freelance opportunities were few and far between. Today, as I reflect, I'm so grateful for the opportunities from those who saw the value in my skillset. (1/5)

I’m a firm believer that whenever you get an opportunity to further your studies, you should take it. Study, bruh! People are getting qualifications and manoeuvring into different fields. You never know where that qualification might take you.
Calling in sick shouldn't come with guilt. Work is part of your life, not your whole life, you're allowed to rest, deal with emergencies and take care of yourself. Staff shortages are a management issue not an employee’s responsibility.
