Heard at #NISOPlus23: a major scholarly communications platform's representative is "surprised" that there are concerns over "data extraction" in Africa and Europe. Reasons for ethical, neutral, and trusted data sovereign frameworks for global scholarship...
#cnif22 presentations on library consortia data lakes at BTAA and IPLC note the importance of trust. I look forward to seeing how they implement legal and technical controls, perhaps finding synergy with @OAeBU_Project in the process.
