Some criticism is extreme, but I can't blame them when a lot (not all, but a lot) of these "✝️" (or "🇺🇸") Sonic fans are racist, xenophobic, anti-LGBTQ+, and antisemitic morons.

Nobody has an issue with Christians. But they have an issue when folks use it to hurt others.

The reasoning feels a tad gaslighty tbh

You can't blame the failure of this game on "low player retention" when you only released it in 2 countries (Brazil and Philippines), effectively not giving a majority of the fan base a chance to even try the game

This feels like a repeated pattern of Sonic mobile games being released in a small amount of countries, with global releases happening way later (Sonic Rumble) or not at all (Sonic Blitz). I don't understand why SEGA and Rovio continue to go with this method when it's proven to not work

It's a shame we'll never know what Sonic Blitz was like, and hopefully next time, they'll release the game to everyone before nuking the game entirely due to "low player retention"

Trans women and other LGBT people are not asking for your acceptance or understanding,
so your argument does not need cruelty.
They only ask you to leave them alone and watch from a distance.

You are capable of treating people with more kindness.
