URGENT: Please help us locate my brother-in-law, V.S. Balasubramanyam (Bali), a US citizen of Indian origin.
Bali was travelling with the Isha Foundation S3 Kailash/Mansarovar group.
His last known phone location, confirmed to his family by Andhra Bhavan, New Delhi, was the Chinese Immigration Centre at Gyirong, Tibet, on the morning of August 26, when the devastating flash flood struck.
His family has had no contact with him since, and his current status is unknown.
If anyone has information about Bali or the S3 group at the Gyirong immigration centre, please DM me.

Dear brainless fellow, stop your brainless propaganda.Many fuel pumps in India are not maintaining their storage tanks properly, and the situation has become even more critical with E20 fuel. The government doesn't care about it. When rainwater enters a fuel station's underground storage tanks, who is supposed to take responsibility?It is an idiotic argument to claim that someone deliberately added water to their fuel tank. Stop insulting the intelligence of consumers.The entire ethanol lobby is shaken and shivering because of growing public outrage. Deal with that first instead of spreading your brainless propaganda.

Ethanol scam
The extreme danger of the random E-20 experiment is the malicious freedom it is granting to unscrupulous petrol pump owners to do any further adulteration that goes unchecked. Most pumps till date do not even display "This is E20 petrol". They just say petrol. We are in a very dark age of governance where Indians have been converted to voiceless, powerless guinea pigs for government's cruel unplanned experiments. And since they are sure of never losing power, their cruelty grows each day with aplomb.

18% GST on car insurance is nothing short of daylight robbery. After extracting hefty income tax, GST on almost every product and service, and endless fuel taxes, governments still slap 18% GST on a basic necessity like vehicle insurance. I have been told by a petrol pump owner in Jayanagar that since 2024 ; the invoice that accompanies the consignment of fuel that arrives with the tanker - the content of the spirit and it’s blend status are not mentioned any more . Earlier, it used to be mentioned regarding what petrol and what percentage it is . So maybe the dealerships are as blindsided as you and me . It’s like a Randomised Double Blind Trial being done without our consent .
As for COCO ( Company Owned Company Operated Pumps) ; needs further investigation. Sadly not many auto journalists are interested barring @jist_news .

Oil companies are themselves claiming that even a small amount of water coming in contact with ethanol blended petrol will cause ethanol to separate from petrol.

This will lead to issues while starting and driving the vehicle.

Customers should check the petrol being dispensed from the nozzle 😯
Because once you car is out of the pump premises, it's customer's problem.

Our problem?
Did we ask for ethanol?

Dear FM Madam @nsitharaman ji,

I have said it before. And I'll say it again. Loud & Clear. I hope you read this. My audience will repost this until it reaches the Ministry.

LTCG of 12.5% on Equities is one of the Lowest in the World.

But there are a few issues:

1. LTCG was ZERO from 2004 to 2018. STT was introduced to offset the Loss in Revenue. It incentivised long term Investors to Hold on Patiently and enjoy Long Term Returns. I believe that Step was something Golden and rewards Long Term Thinking. FM Madam should reconsider this. Keep STT. Abolish LTCG. Consider Long Term Investors as a Partner in Growth of India.

2. STT is already taken for every transaction. This is a tax. Again putting Capital Gain, especially on Long Term Gains is not Ok. This is my Opinion. STT is borne by the investor irrespective of Profit or Loss.

3. We are not against Paying Taxes. In fact, we all Pay Income Tax, Capital Gains Tax, GST, Excise, VAT, Tax on Dividends and what not. The problem is the Freebies which are Distributed during the Elections. This is not at all ok. We don't want a single rupee of our Capital Gains to be used for Freebies. Please.

I humbly request the FM Madam to Abolish LTCG on Equities. Make the Long Term Period 24 months instead of 12 months. You will see Patient Capital 👍 We need Patient Capital to Drive Markets. Incentivise Long Term Investing Mindset.

For Indian Investors like me, the Pain is lesser. We will continue to Create Wealth. But what about our FII brothers & sisters. They also deserve to get minimum returns in Dollar Terms.

I feel for the FIIs who have suffered due to declining Rupee and they still have to pay LTCG on Rupee Terms. Something the FM Madam and team should revisit.

I think that it is a good time to implement this. FII no longer control our markets. Domestic Funds are consistent and plenty. If FIIs leave, let them Leave with Head Held High. That is our Responsibility.

India Structually is Brilliant. Let's make it Tax Friendly as well.

Patient Capital will Flow More & Stay, if these Steps are Taken.
