@CurtisPashelka Low risk to be claimed off waivers as well if he'd support the Barracuda if enough of the young D are up top. Seems like a sound low risk option to make sure injury and illness don't have to be covered at the cost of the Barracuda's roster like we've seen sometimes.

@SensCentral Prior to the trade, he was not expected at Sharks dev camp either as he's home for the summer, should be there for training camp in the fall. Had a full season in the AHL which may have contributed to the Sharks not requiring him.
