Sometimes the number is higher than expected in a given year caused by things like pandemics or even war, sometimes it’s below what’s expected, due to medical advancements etc.

@dantypo I believe Cincinnati is sometimes referred to as the most northern southern city. I grew up in Warren and moved to Cinci for my first real job and that was one of the first things i noticed. Although, I think the line should be a bit lower.
