Fun fact: Many companies have L&D stipends for employees to invest in courses, books, conferences, etc.

Almost 50% of @MavenHQ students get their courses reimbursed. But these budgets usually expire on Dec 31.

@epatt6 Good point. There are definitely benefits to reading product books early on (figure out if you’re interested in the work! get a sense of what the role can look like! build foundations!) but they’re def not prescriptive in a "read this and then get a job doing it" kind of way.
