Ss completed many “MONSTER MADNESS” review skills. Once they finished each skill, they showed it to me then drew from the TRICK or a TREAT bowl. Treat = candy & Trick = with they had to try to guess what was in the mystery sack (following sanitizing procedures). So fun!

We were in the ER today with the best DRs around!! Students completed 9 different review skill surgeries on their “patients”! Such a fun day & high levels of engagement!

Toy Story transformation this week! SS learned abt characterization & conflicts. We answered questions from “the Claw”, analyzed different Toy Story clips for char.traits & conflicts, answered ?s to build Potato Heads, designed our own toys, &ended with STEM activity!

Students wrote poems & decorated the sacks as we learned what it means to be a Veteran. We decorated the commissary’s sacks so we could honor the veterans in our own backyard & put a thank you note in their hands!

Yesterday, as we learned about order and sequence text structure, students followed a “how to” and created a witch’s broom string art! 🧙🏻‍♀️
