Huge kudos to Jay Bhattacharya for how calmly he dealt with this absolutely loathsome fake news operative. She really is one of the worst.

First, when Islamist or other mass shooters leave behind extensive records explaining their motives, those records are immediately buried and we are told their motives will never be known. Yet here, where the shooter left no manifesto explaining his actions, we are confidently informed that he was motivated by “misinformation.”

Second, as even the fake news operative acknowledges, the shooter had serious mental health problems. Yet somehow the blame is shifted away from the fact that he was severely mentally ill and onto “misinformation.”

It is sickening to watch the narrative being twisted this way. You can see and hear how angry Dr Bhattacharya is at the lies and false narratives being pushed at him, but he never loses his composure. He simply keeps dismantling the premise, calmly and methodically, without allowing himself to be dragged into the grotesque framing she is trying to impose.

My house is paid off.

Took I and my wife 22 years and every extra dollar we ever had.

Except property taxes are $11,000 a year now.

If we don’t pay, armed men show up and take a house we already own outright.

We also paid 32% in income tax this year.

Plus sales tax on everything we bought.

There are a few problems with this logic. For one, there are around 2 billion Muslims in the world, and only 15 million Jews. You could credibly argue this is a false equivalency from multiple angles (moral, religious, and historical), but even if you conceded the point Jews have outsized influence in America relative to their population size, we’re still not at risk of being demographically replaced by them. We are by Muslims.

There are 50 Muslim majority nations, so why are they mass migrating to the West? Because they want to conquer us. They tell us as much. They plan to mass migrate, mass procreate, and there’s still that pesky little problem of mass terrorism.

Our laws, values, and ideals in the West are rooted in Christendom. Islam is incompatible with that. They pray to Mecca, to another land, in a sign of loyalty to their god. They are not loyal to America, or any other western nation. Many, probably most, hate us. Eventually they plan to enslave, tax, and rule over us, or just kill us.

The First Amendment was written with various Christian denominations in mind. It is not a suicide pact with Islam.

• Radical activist Debbie Almontaser (forced out of a New York school for defending “Intifada NYC” T-shirts, close to Linda Sarsour and Ilhan Omar) celebrated her as “the first Yemeni American Muslim hijabi woman to become a judge in this country”

• DSA radical Jamaal Bowman also joined the congratulations

• Her own posts announcing the judgeship (while saying she would continue practicing immigration law) and the supporting tributes have been scrubbed since RAIR exposed her

Her law firm logo features prominent crossed scimitars. This is shockingly similar to the Brotherhood’s logo.

A woman with this network and this record is now on the municipal bench in Mississippi -?and posing for photos with the state’s Attorney General and gubernatorial candidate.

We have additional troubling associations coming. VERY concerning!

Since Jason Arday, I’ve been thinking about getting into Cambridge, and what it meant.

The culmination of years of headbanging hard work. Being a “swot” at school because I handed in homework instead of being popular. Yes, in a comprehensive the choice was that stark.

Carrying Tesco’s bags full of books home from the library on the bus for weeks. Piling the books high to create a rampart around my single bed.
Telling myself, “If you read all those books you’ll be good enough to get in.”

Some of the books I read - all of Graham Greene - were not considered “literature”. Not of the first rank, dear. I didn’t know.

As much Shakespeare as I could pack in - the big 4 Tragedies, all of the comedies. All of Austen, Forster (even Maurice FFS), lots of Dickens, Anna Karenina (devastating, wonderful).

I stopped going to school because I needed to read more, much much more. To be good enough to get in.

The Head of Sixth Form summoned me and said, “If you carry on like this you’ll fail your A levels.”

Ha! She hadn’t got a clue. I was working so far beyond A levels. Besides, I had to finish all the books in the rampart. Time was running out.

So hard, the entrance papers. Translating Proust into English. How?

Then, a passage of George Eliot I recognised - thank you God! Then pretending that I’d read Oliver Twist when I’d only seen the film. I called it Oliver! in my essay. With an exclamation mark - how crass. But the dons didn’t know the musical, maybe. I don’t know.

The only lie I told to get into Cambridge. Oliver! “All we ever get is groo-ell!” A really small, forgivable lie, I think, because the work of becoming good enough was so immense, so lonely.

But the surge of pride when I made it. Good enough to get into that unattainable place.

And now, we know that same Cambridge let in someone with two GCSEs - PE and textiles. A man who lied and lied and lied.

They didn’t just let Jason Arday in, they made him a Professor, one of those scholars kids like me revered. We were in awe - imagine being taught by those great minds.

Christ, Cambridge. What a betrayal of all of us who strove so hard to be good enough to deserve you. Who put you on a pedestal, who really truly thought reading hundreds of books was the price of admission, a price you willingly paid.

So much for the brightest and the best. It’s so disgusting on every level, waving in someone utterly unworthy, barely literate for crying out loud. A man at the mercy of the English language, not its master and commander.

A know-nothing Professor, a vacuous, fashionable fraudster hired to give lectures to kids like me.

So Cambridge could look “diverse” and, in so doing, renounced its ancient power which made so many like me strive to be good enough.

• Liked and endorsed comments comparing Jews to “monkeys”

• Praised the Muslim Brotherhood as “inspirational”

• Admitted on Facebook to filling out absentee ballots for other voters during the 2020 primaries (“I did their families’ ballot cards myself”)

• Shared a racist meme mocking Black people as looters and alcoholics during the George Floyd riots

• Used derogatory language about Christians and accused Arab leaders of “becoming Jewish”

Senators Ted Cruz, Dave McCormick, and others from both sides of the aisle destroyed his ambassador nomination over this record.

The Senate sent it back to the White House without action.

Yet Assma A. Ali sat behind him in support… publicly defended him… and is now a judge interpreting American law in Mississippi.

This is who is being elevated in the Republican-led state !? Why!?

🆘 HELP NEEDED UTICA, NY

A family in Utica urgently needs transportation assistance to Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester on September 1.

He is scheduled for surgery to remove cancer from his chest and under his arm and may need to remain in hospital for a few days due to his weakened condition.

Medical transportation has unfortunately been unreliable, and Uber/Lyft is simply not affordable.

Her message is HORRIFYING.

Her own family has BEGGED to keep him locked up for NEARLY 10 YEARS.

They even PERSONALLY CONTACTED THE JUDGES TO ASK HIM NOT TO BE RELEASED.

He was anyway.

The family said they have called everyone they could for nearly a decade including his therapist, attorneys, probation officers AND the judges saying:

Because out of Diquan Hunt's criminal cases, the overwhelming majority were DISMISSED ENTIRELY.

In fact, out of the 13 criminal cases that have been brought against Diquan, 11 of them have been DISMISSED ENTIRELY.

Yes, you read that right.

At least 8 former assault, domestic violence, and even discharging a firearm cases were ALL DISMISSED.

Being Apolitical is NOT cool or virtuous.

I hear good people say they “don’t care about politics” like that’s a badge of honor for somehow being “above it all” but this is privileged ignorance regardless of reasoning.

Good people will say to my face they “don’t care” about politics and what that actually means to me is I have to now fight double for you.

You aren’t going to pick the harvest but you still have to eat, so I guess I am going to pick for both of us.

Oh, and there’s a wolf stalking me but that’s okay, I’ll stay out here by myself, while looking over my shoulder and do your work too.

Now expand that to a whole generation of young adults.

Being politically illiterate is just as bad as being deficient in any category because it does in fact “matter” whether you choose to participate or not.

Politics decide our FREEDOM, the most important thing human beings could ever possess.

You like practicing your faith? Thank someone who “cares” about politics.

Christians are some of the worst culprits of this thinking.

Being politically literate is hard but it’s easy to start. Stay grounded in your values and talk to someone who IS knowledgable.

I always tell my kids, don’t try to learn about God from a non believer.

The same is true for politics. Someone who “doesn’t care” but then spouts off a talking point from a viral meme with zero context is NOT going to help you think.

You can value kindness, but without political literacy, open borders or crime leniency or endless social services or DEI or Free Palestine may seem kind…

BUT,

You have to know what the results of those decisions actually mean and what they lead to in order to judge whether they are in fact “kind” and those facts are often left of the memes.

Please start caring about politics, about policies, about protecting freedom of speech, religion, security, education…

It all matters and I would love some company in the field.
