@wblau Not valid for all cryptocurrencies. Cardano for instance (#4 reg crypto market cap) uses „Proof of Stake“ instead Bitcoin‘s „Proof of Work“ approach. However it took them years to scientifically prove that it’s as secure as the oldschool methods. So progress takes place!
