Many people wonder how on earth Grace Ashcroft, an FBI analyst, was sent on a solo mission to the Wrenwood Hotel. The answer is hidden right within the game, though it isn't handed to you on a silver platter. The entire process was orchestrated by Victor Gideon and Zeno, consisting of multiple stages where everything was carefully planned and meticulously executed.

You can find the details of Gideon's intentions in the documents found on the archive screens, and using the photo mode allows you to clearly read every single point.

1. Find person infected with Umbrella's curse.

2. Put pressure on relevant parties to hand investigation to FBI.

3. Plant corpse with symptoms of Umbrella's curse in Wrenwood Hotel.

4. Ensure Grace Ashcroft is put on the case.

5. Check Grace Ashcroft Is the same person from 8 years ago.

5.1. How does she react to photos of Alyssa?
5.2. How does she react to being in the hotel?

6. Liberate Grace Ashcroft.

7. Conduct relevant tests for a match to a KEY.

8. Bring KEY to R.P.D.

8.1 Get her to cooperate?

9. Bring her to ARK.

9.1. RELEASE ELPIS.

Understanding this plan, much like reading Grace's report unlocked after finishing the game, sheds new light on the entire plot.
