@isharuthd please can you tell us why the flammable cladding at Belvedere court has not been replaced after waiting for 3 years yet and why there is no current timeline for it to be resolved?
@isharuthd@ISHA_London Is there an approximate timeline you have to remedy the under 18m buildings? We are still waiting for the full survey to be completed. So far we have cladding, missing fire breaks and timber balconies on the list and possibly the metal structure that needs to be fire rated
@isharuthd@ISHA_London Thanks Ruth. After speaking to my bank they have said they will consider applications from landlord certificates but it’s not a given and is on a case by case basis. So we may go through all of the fees to find out we cannot actually sell. Our ISHA building is still not fire safe
Does City Hall also monitor what happens to shared owners trapped in the building safety crisis?
How many lost their homes?
How many were forced into a distressed sale?
Did the @MayorofLondon ask social landlords to alter their buyback policies?

@isharuthd@ISHA_London Please can you now remedy the ones under 18m? We have been stuck for years with rising rents for ISHA in shared ownership properties not being able to sell or staircase
In March @insidehousing reported the results of a survey we undertook showing only 21.8% of leaseholders in dangerous blocks had seen remediation work start. 78.8% couldn't remortgage.
Most remain trapped in a #CostOfLivingCrisis & #BuildingSafetyCrisis

@EOCS_Official@michaelgove@Keir_Starmer Still trapped. Housing association dragging their feet, developer not taking responsibility, developer (Durkan) not on the governments list of developers, years away from work even starting as the HA are having to take legal action. Approx 2 years worth of remediation works
The much-heralded #BuildingSafetyAct has so far not helped most leaseholders move on with their lives.
Many have been waiting for remediation for over 5 years
We are still trapped.
We won't forgive.
We won't forget.

⏳ When will leaseholders whose developers have signed contracts hear when remediation work will start on their buildings?
Until that happens, nothing has changed.

A shocking story of residents in a tower block in Salford.
The cladding was removed 5 years ago, but has still not being replaced.
One resident says "I`ve never been so down in my life living in these flats.

Leaseholders in this block are paying mortgages, service charges and management fees on flats they can’t live in, let out or sell
Some are losing up to £20k a year in costs and lost rental income
All because they bought a flat, which was originally certified with no issues
