Hosting a poker + game night in LA.
Monday, 10/12. Venice.

We'll also have a wellness space with (optional) sauna, cold plunge, red-light therapy, and a jacuzzi!
Event is RSVP only, priority access to members.
Some updates from our team at @thecollectiv3e - we've been growing fast!
1. We're opening our NYC HQ in Chelsea.
A 6,000 sqft loft in the heart of the city. This will be the premier space for founders and builders in New York. There are very few good coworking spaces in NYC - we want to change that.
We're designing our space to be the best place for founders and builders in the city. We'll have private offices, a maker-space, a content room, a kitchen, a lounge, and much more.
2. We launched our talent arm.
From the beginning, we've specialized in finding exceptional people and bringing them together. For a long time that meant events and community. Now we're applying the same approach to hiring.
We believe great hires come from in-person relationships and a deeply trusted network. We're excited that @clairajv recently joined us as our Founding Head of Talent. She'll be helping members find the right people to supercharge their teams.
3. The community & team is growing quickly!
Our latest group, Cohort 4, filled up in 3 weeks (our fastest ever) and we received over 450+ applications during that time period. We recently launched in LA and are happy to see the community coming together nicely.
We're also pumped to welcome new fellows to the team across SF, NYC, and LA - @mikashimmura, @maxlovestweets, @Rick_Yang2, @jaydenxxia, @allixzheng, @Davexyao, @l1frances, @ssarahfann, and @BoitDarley.
We've come a long way in 12 months, but it feels like we're just getting started.
Massive shoutout to all of our members, our partners, and everyone who has supported us so far!
The IRL connection economy is a $400B+ market.
And companies are racing to own it.
In the last 6 months, $800M+ in capital was deployed on "IRL" bets.
@Tinder invested $60M into a new Events feature for connecting matches in-person. They're pivoting to IRL and offering experiences such as speakeasies, raves, and pottery classes.

@timeleft: dinner with 5 strangers, every Wednesday. €18M ARR. 6,500 dinners/week across 200+ cities.

Excited to share that @clairajv has joined us as Head of Talent!
@maggiexgao and I have spent the past year building @thecollectiv3e, and we always said we wouldn't bring someone on until we found a person who didn't just fit the community, but embodies it. Claira is that person.
She has a rare feel for people, she's sharp and driven, and also one of the best hosts I know. She's someone who can pull a group of strangers together and have them feeling like old friends by the end of the night.
We share a simple view: great startups are built by people who refuse to accept the world as finished, and who know which futures, and which people, are worth building toward. None of that happens alone. Strong relationships are what make it possible, because generosity compounds: ideas get sharper and possibility turns into momentum.
At The Collective, Claira will be building out our talent network: connecting founders with high-slope people who want to do consequential work. Maggie and I couldn't be happier to have her on the team.
If you're a founder hiring, or thinking about your next move, reach out to her.
I want to help 50 people get jobs by the end of the year.
I work with 200+ startups - most are hiring. If you're a great candidate I'll connect you directly to the founders.
I'm looking for:
-a product-oriented frontend engineer
-a designer who can code
-forward deployed engineer
-GTM engineer
-fullstack engineer (founding role)
All companies are venture-backed and growing quickly. DM me with the role you're interested in and apply to our talent pool to be considered -> https://t.co/gF2QIOt1ja
