@jayinbold@zackferguson You get the keys during induction, or maybe after safe guarding level 3. Foggy on the details as I have been drinking champagne and eating caviar in the canteen all morning…..
@hannahmillana You are a doc it’s got nothing to do with the matron. I hate this sort of rubbish. We need to support each other. Can’t imagine your supervisor would give a shiny shit!
@pharmheroes I’m in! But just need to make sure if I lose the organisation £30 billion in my 2nd month in a new role I can just go go back to my original job? No coroners court or disciplinary action? Sweet!!
@AbdoPainHotline I agree. Until I worked as a jr ACP in ED I didn’t really understand the pressures you guys were under. It looked soul destroying. It seems like an overhaul of training will be needed to enable a more diverse, sustainable workforce in medicine.
@resetwithlynsey@arghavan_salles Ah yes and the shoe policies! So many possible safety issues linked to white soled shoes. Only all black shoes are truly safe. I loose count of the number of lives I’ve saved by not having blue hair or visible tattoos!
@hyliepeets Good to know. Thank you! I think you’re right there is no point in sending people home unprepared. I don’t prescribe this treatment but I do sometimes chat with pts thinking about this so it’s good to hear from someone who has been through it and find out what they want to know
@hyliepeets @Independent Point taken. It is worse than period pain. Bpas is pretty clear on the website though and provide videos so maybe patients should be sign posted to that.
@ERlNMARlE @Independent Would it though? I would be pretty terrified if someone told me that. I think everyone’s experience is different so do we alway opt to describe the worst case scenario? and if so would it change anything?
@Independent What exactly did you want them to tell you? Pain is largely a subjective experience how are the meant to know how much pain you will experience?
