@CoachMarcusHill If you are having issues with player safety or not knowing the rules then you need to talk to the assigner. Otherwise umpires are “inserting themselves in the game” because sportsmanship and coach conduct are at an all-time low.
@CoachMarcusHill You say that coaches are ok with one or two missed bang bang plays…not what I see every weekend. Coaches are questioning ball/strike in the top of the first inning. What you call an “ump show” is usually taking control early so it doesn’t turn into a shitshow later 1/2
@OutOfTheVines MLB wants to do what the NFL and NBA has done for years…turn college baseball into their unpaid minor league. My guess is only AA and AAA would survive.
@doug_mix@Isley23 I understand that’s the call…just don’t see it as malicious. It’s a high impact collision but the first baseman is trying to make a play. A tough one all the way around.
@doug_mix@Isley23 I disagree…protecting yourself while going to field the ball isn’t malicious contact for me. The contact doesn’t happen if the batter/runner doesn’t interfere. I understand MC overrules all, but I don’t see it here. Just my opinion.
