@Clairomancer i don’t think anyone who’s able to think reasonably is saying nothing will ever replace single elements of destiny that made it special, but what made it special is that it was a lot of different things done pretty good in an appealing, accessible, looter shooter package.
@Clairomancer or raid equivalents, and at least for me i was primarily a PVE player and that was what i lived for. and obviously smth like WOW or any other MMO has raids, but they’re substantially different, requiring more people, more optimization, and a lot more of a time commitment.
@OctorokR my brother in christ who do you think decides what choices are made when making a game. individual developers do not have a say in the poor choices you’re mad at, nor do they deserve to lose their fucking jobs cause upper management can’t manage or make good choices
@Angry_Misfit also from what i gather his gripe is not with casting little people as dwarves but with the concept of the movie itself and how its “snow white and the seven DWARVES”.
@Angry_Misfit “he played elf and that check cashed fine!” elf came out 2003 dawg, this interview is like last few years i believe. have you considered people can change their minds and their standards for how they should be treated can change as they get older and gain more experience?
@d2beyondlight i’m gonna bat for fighting lion and say it fucks so hard on my behemoth titan build, lowkey stole it from esoterickk but it’s probably my #1 build right now
@AesirAesthetics i think fallout 4 is a fun game, as nakeyjakey put it it’s like “janky minecraft with guns”, the issue is the game is marketing itself as an RPG, but its dialogue system and depth of choices are completely dumbed down compared to something like 1, 2, or NV.
@crotaplushie i’m currently on my like 50th attempt at a solo flawless i have the fucking servitor down to a science i cannot for the life of me kill the puppeteer. it’s my favorite dungeon i genuinely love it but I HAVE NO ICE BREAKER AND THE FLAWLESS ESCAPES ME.
@Kindincelchud i think it hits a lot of the same notes that destiny does. but i think if what you’re looking for is something to scratch the raid/dungeon/pvp itch you won’t find it in borderlands. there are raids but to be honest they’re just difficult boss fights meant for a group of 4.
@Kindincelchud division 2 and warframe don’t scratch the same itch for me, and if i’m being honest i don’t think anything will. borderlands is about the closest i’ve found, haven’t played BL4 but in BL2 the build diversity, the charm, the mix of like cyber magic and weaponry -
@Jasp3r_0 it’s not on streaming but it is on the physical release. i’ve listened to the album since it dropped but had no idea about boyfriend, bought the vinyl last year and heard it and was fucking blown away.
@halsey there’s plenty of artists i’ve loved that he’s rated terribly but i pay it no mind cause i don’t need to. at worst it’s just a different perspective to see how someone else might interpret the music.
@halsey i don’t think he’s ever stated his opinion to be fact nor is he asking people to agree with him. his job is listening to music and telling you what he thinks about it, he ends every video with “did you love it, did you hate it, what would you rate it?”
